"Debbie Matthews is truly one of life’s shining stars — you know those people who go above and beyond when it counts, without thinking twice about it. I’ve had the privilege of knowing Debbie for nearly three decades, ever since we first met when I was 16 years old, racing in the USA at the Women’s World Cup in Texas. Two years later, I returned to follow my dream of racing in the prestigious Women’s Motocross League, a four-round series that spanned the entire country. 

 

My original plans fell through, but Debbie came to my rescue, offering her unwavering support despite having two young kids at the time. If it weren’t for Debbie’s generosity and dedication, my dream of racing motocross in America would never have come true. Debbie and her family went above and beyond to help me during a critical time, and for that, I am forever grateful.

 

Four years later, Debbie welcomed me back into her home with open arms. She understood my drive, determination, and passion because she shared those same qualities. Once again, she supported me 100% in my goals.

Debbie is so much more than meets the eye. In the world of women’s motocross, this incredible woman has not only helped me, but so many others, achieve their dreams at every level.
