Cancellation Policy
Event Policy Purpose: This policy outlines the terms and conditions governing speaking engagements hosted by Driven Futures. It is designed to protect the interests of both the organizers and the speakers, ensuring professionalism, legal compliance, and a positive experience for all participants. 1. Speaker Agreement All speakers must sign a formal agreement before the event that includes: Date, time, and location (or virtual platform) of the event Description of the session(s) to be presented Compensation terms (if applicable) Travel and lodging responsibilities (if applicable). Technical and equipment requirements 2. Intellectual Property Speakers retain ownership of their original content but grant Driven Futures a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to record, reproduce, and distribute the presentation in whole or in part, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any materials submitted for distribution (e.g., slides, handouts) must be original or properly credited, with all third-party rights cleared by the speaker. 3. Recording and Use of Likeness The event may be recorded (audio/video/photography) for promotional, archival, or educational purposes. By participating, speakers grant permission for their name, likeness, voice, and presentation to be used in event-related media and promotional materials. 4. Content Guidelines Presentations must be respectful, professional, and suitable for the event’s audience. Speakers must avoid defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful content. If the event is industry- or compliance-related, content must meet any relevant legal or ethical standards. 5. Cancellations and Substitutions. Speakers must notify organizers of cancellations as early as possible. Substitutes are not permitted without prior approval from the event organizer. Driven Futures reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event or any individual session due to unforeseen circumstances. 6. Liability and Indemnification Speakers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Driven Futures and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation, including any third-party intellectual property claims or legal violations. 7. Code of Conduct All speakers are expected to abide by the event’s Code of Conduct, promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all attendees. 8. Governing Law This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict
